I have aquired the skin of a snake

The texture is beautiful, and the way the light shines through the translucent scales is truly something to behold. I want to cut it up, but it in itself seems too beautiful and precious to destroy. (Oh well, I need to cannibalise it.)

When thinking about my project, I began to be fascinated by the word ‘coil’, and immediately thought of a Snake. The forms in themselves seem to coil around one another, as if they hope to cling to one another forever, shielding one another from the abhorrent world around them. A snake coils to keep warm, and to keep its soft underbelly protected. The figures also seem to emulate this warmth, and protect their inner fleshy bits, their weaknesses are hidden from view when in an embrace with another.

I will cut it up and use it now, wish me luck
